Welcome to Follow My Fulbright!
Fáilte, dia duit! My name is Bernadette, and I'll be using this blog to document my time in Ireland as a US Fulbright student!
During my Fulbright, I'll be studying at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with Dr. Paul Roe and exploring the intersection of contemporary clarinet performance and Irish traditional music. As a third-generation American, I have been connected to Ireland my entire life and I am excited to get to bring a bit of my family's history back home.
I plan on sharing tips and tricks I discover, my travels, bits about my school and adjusting to life abroad, etc. Really anything at all that might be helpful to future Fulbrighters in Dublin, those looking at moving, or anyone just along for the ride. Feel free to send in suggestions on things you'd like to see from the Emerald Isle and I'll do my best to share what I can.
